Middle Ground
somewhere outside and beyond the boring bland bourgeoise of the middle ground lie the romantic extremes of lawlessness and tyranny for the ones needing more from the middle ground than what they've gained or what it offers there's the romantic storybook realms of lawlessness and tyranny beyond the middle ground there's the fanciful realms of tyranny for the ones blaming too much lawlessness for their troubles just as there's the fabled realms of lawlessness for the ones blaming too much oppression for their ills fairytale realms for the fools blaming the middle ground for their own lack of progress or losses blaming it on the turf instead of their own inability to sow enough from the imperfect yet fertile soil of the middle ground having sown enough seeds of discontent within the middle ground lawlessness or tyranny become the solutions to those not finding enough traction so the middle ground disintegrates as more and more flock to the alternatives as more and more desperately grasp for answers in the comforts of lawlessness or tyranny while the soil of the middle ground crumbles leaving lawlessness and tyranny as the only offerings to the desperate and needy while the land they once knew slips further and further away absurdly leaving lawlessness or tyranny to quell the anxieties of the desperate neither lawlessness nor tyranny offering much hope or room for progress through anything but bloodshed which at least the boring old bourgeois middle ground once did
