maybe you like
walking in circles
knowing
the beginning and destination
are always
the same

maybe you like 
walking in circles
so engrossed
in the thinking
that keeps you circling
you fail to notice
how the scenery
never changes

or maybe
there's a comforting
familiarity
to the scenery
that never
changes
as you walk around
in your circle

i see you
walking in circles
but it's not for me
so pay no mind
making my way
meandering
in some direction
hopefully
on a path
to a real destination
offering
some
different
things
to see
along the way
