Religion of Conspiracy
perhaps the consolations in the narratives of the godless are not enough for enough to ever supplant the narratives of the god-fearing perhaps the narratives of the godless will never be good enough for enough perhaps it's good enough for the godless to have their voice in the contest as old narratives crumble and newer ones emerge the old supplanted with the new narratives of conspiracies far worse than the old the godless wishing their narratives to ascend to prominence in the chaos when perhaps it's the narratives of old that always and only carry the weight to smother the newly emerging senseless ones the old narratives ancient and unfashionable still better hopefully more powerful than the conspiracies conspiring to overthrow them and drive us even more mindless and insane than the old narratives already have the new narratives of conspiracies giving us new cains and abels that were rested long ago and the witch burning beliefs in the old narratives long gone dull while the beliefs inside the new narratives of conspiracy are fresh sharp and pointed in need of tender flesh for their contemporary crucifixes with our godless narratives the promise of immortal souls embedded in binary code or a rational embrace of the rationally unknown and unfathomable woefully less appealing far more helpless in assuaging the soul than even the senselessness of the burgeoning narratives of conspiracies perhaps it is time for the godless to choose an accomplice in the god-fearing narratives of old or trust in the new gods with new satans and infidels to punish and purge in the dawning of this religion of conspiracy
