other creatures without reason lacking the capacity for abstraction also lacking the capacity for creating art itself an abstraction a reformulation through representation of reality poetry literature like ideologies all art all abstractions all stories ideology like art a rendering of our lives and existence from life and existence ideologies of ancient religions and politics fragmenting evolving adapting others dying and decaying as any story passed down through centuries and cultures will good art full stories like rich ideologies enduring great art like great ideologies allowing us to suspend our disbelief in the moment or over a lifetime when a great story fools us into believing it's more than just a story rather an actual representation of life itself we are creatures unique in our self-awareness and capacity for abstract and conceptual thinking perhaps this is why we too are the only creatures that create both the abstractions of art as well as all the ideologies throughout time that have defined us giving us the framework for living so abstractly too
